????? A few days ago, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. summoned to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine for the record of the recall plan. Since May 10, 2013, the following defective Nissan vehicles will be recalled. According to the company’s statistics, a total of 708 vehicles are involved in the Chinese mainland:
From June 25, 2001 to November 26, 2002, 468 imported Sunny vehicles were produced.
From April 6, 2001 to June 28, 2003, 212 imported X-Trail vehicles were produced.
From April 5, 2001 to December 4, 2002, 28 imported Patrol vehicles were produced.
For vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the manufacturer’s manufacturing reasons, the co-pilot airbag of the vehicle may fail in the event of a vehicle collision. At this time, the internal pressure of the gas generator in the airbag rises abnormally, the metal container may be damaged and splashed, and the high-temperature gas in the gas generator may leak or even catch fire, which poses a safety hazard. Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the qualified gas generator for the vehicle with the problem free of charge to eliminate the hidden trouble.
