[car home New Car Launches] At the new york Auto Show, which opened on March 27th, local time, Bentley released a special edition model "Belonging Bentayga". This unique (|) model with Alpine Green body color shows the skyline and famous buildings from different cities around the world by hand painting, which was drawn by Stephen Wiltshire, a British architectural artist and winner of the Royal Honorary Member Medal.
"Belonging Bentayga" is the first time that Bentley brand has been painted by hand in this way in its headquarters factory in Crewe, England. The custom painting team from Bentley Quality Center has adopted a unique process to develop it. This artwork shows 29 different landmark buildings, such as new york, London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Venice, Tokyo and Hongkong, and each side of the body represents a different continent.
In addition, the design also contains many portraits to show the design theme of multi-cultural integration in the world. Stephen, an artistic genius with autism, is famous for his unforgettable memory and exquisite painting skills.
In 2021, after recognizing the importance of diversified experiences and perspectives, Bentley Motors formulated a five-step plan, focusing on external expansion, recruiting talents, personnel training, corporate culture and development, and enhancing the diversity and inclusiveness of its "dream factory" at the headquarters of Bentley Motors in Crewe, England. Bentley Unifying Spur was created by Rich Morris, a designer who is proficient in painting and sculpture of Bentley Motors. Based on the nine colors of the Progress flag, it outlines the curves of faces and dancing figures through a line, which is connected with the words "Love is Love", symbolizing human beings of different races, beliefs or genders, and interpreting the majestic and diverse forces. Bentley’s Rainbow-inspired Continental GT V8 convertible was also launched in July 2020. "Belonging Bentayga" is the third artistic product launched by Bentley brand, aiming to highlight its commitment to diversity. (Compile/car home Guo Chen)
