The whole play is divided into three parts: Listening to the Wind, Watching the Wind and Catching the Wind. Except for the emotional description of Huang Yiyi and Zaitian An in Watching the Wind, the other two parts are wonderful. The legendary color and characters of Listening to the Wind, the meticulous logic and powerful suspense of Catching the Wind have all reached the top level of domestic spy war dramas.

Kite is another classic spy drama directed and starred by Liu Yunlong. However, the flaw of the play is that it is too keen to create suspense, often with many clues and many foreshadowing. When the suspense was finally solved, it seemed a little anticlimactic, and the ending of the big comeback was unconvincing, which was a bit of a fly in the ointment.
Directed by Liu Jin and written by YongXian Quan, The Cliff, starring Zhang Jiayi, Song Jia, Cheng Yu and Yongmei, was broadcast in early 2012, and now it has become a classic spy war drama. It was even more taken by director Zhang Yimou, and the screenwriter YongXian Quan was invited to cooperate and adapted into the film Above the Cliff, starring Zhang Hanyu, Amanda and Zhang Yi, which was just finished on May 19th this year.
The production level of Cliff is excellent, the service and actors’ performances are first-class, the first half of the story is ups and downs, which is wonderful, and the fate and emotions of the characters are very attractive to the audience. However, the rhythm of the second half gradually dragged on, and the unreasonable and logical parts of the story began to increase. The ending was particularly rough, which was regrettable. It was still a good work on the whole.
