A few days ago, AITO Q Jie’s new flagship SUV Q Jie M9 was officially unveiled, but the new car only released the appearance, and the interior was not disclosed to the public. As time went by, we got a spy photo of the interior of Q Jie M9 from relevant channels. According to previous information, Q Jie M9 will be officially launched in mid-December, and the production car has been rolled off the assembly line, and the new car is expected to be listed and delivered in the future. It is worth mentioning that Q Jie M9 has opened reservations before, and it is expected to sell for 500,000-600,000 yuan, providing two power options: extended range version and pure electric version.

From the spy photos obtained, the most eye-catching feature of the M9 interior is the large screen that runs through the entire center console, composed of three screens: full LCD instrument, central control large screen and co-pilot entertainment screen, and the size is relatively exaggerated. It can also be linked with the AR-HUD head-up display system to create a strong technological atmosphere in the car. It is expected that Huawei’s latest Hongmeng 4.0 cockpit will not be absent.

The air conditioner is trended with chrome-plated elements to embellish, and is equipped with two wireless charging panels for mobile phones. The central channel area and door panels are also covered with wood grain veneers, and with brown interiors, a large amount of leather materials and ambient lights, it has a good performance in luxury texture.

Combined with the previously obtained spy photos, the seats of the M9 are relatively wide, and a thickened headrest is added to the head position to further enhance the ride comfort. The second row uses two independent seats, and has a wealth of electric adjustment options and zero gravity design. Even the third row of seats supports electric adjustment to ensure ride comfort.

As a large SUV, the Qinjie M9’s aura is quite powerful. The most eye-catching feature on the front face is the headlight group. The far and near lights on both sides of the penetrating light strip show the shape of a water bottle. There are also dot-matrix light strips on the top, and a matrix-style LED panel on the bottom. It adopts an upper and lower symmetrical design, which looks quite unique. In addition, it can also project lights to the ground or wall, and can interact with surrounding vehicles or pedestrians to further enhance the technological sense of the whole vehicle.

The side shape of the body is quite smooth, and some models also use a two-tone body. As can be seen in the details, the top is equipped with a lidar, and a side-view camera is added to the front fender, indicating that the new car will be equipped with Huawei’s latest ADS 2.0 high-end intelligent driving system. The outer rearview mirror also integrates an NFC contactless unlocking module. According to different models, two styles of 21-inch wheels are available.

At the end, the through-type tail light echoes the headlights. The red light strip extends all the way to the inside of the lamp cavities on both sides, and LED panels are also designed in the lower half to ensure the eye-catching effect after lighting. The position of the license plate frame is concave, which is also a family design element. The rear surround is also embellished with silver guards. The whole tail shape is relatively full and looks quite heavy.

In terms of body size, the declared length, width and height of the new car are 5230/1999/1800mm, the wheelbase is 3110mm, and the 6-seat layout is adopted. For reference, the ideal L9 has a length, width and height of 5218/1998/1800mm and a wheelbase of 3105mm. In comparison, the size of the M9 is slightly dominant.

The M9 will offer two power options: the extended range version and the pure electric version. The extended range version is equipped with a 1.5T range extender, with a maximum power of 112 kW and two drive motors, with a maximum power of 165 kW and 200 kW respectively. The declared pure electric cruising range is 175 kilometers; the pure electric version also adopts a dual motor layout. The maximum power of the front and rear motors is 160 kW and 230 kW respectively, and the declared cruising range is 630 kilometers. In addition, the new car will also be equipped with a rear wheel follow-up steering system.

At present, the AITO brand owns two models: Wenjie M5 (medium-sized SUV) and Wenjie M7 (medium-sized and large SUV). In the future, Wenjie M9 will become the brand’s flagship SUV, and it is also one of the rare new energy large SUVs of its own brand. The main competitor that the new car will face is the ideal L9 (429,800 – 459,800 yuan), but the latter has to occupy a certain advantage in terms of popularity. Let’s wait and see if Wenjie M9 can come from behind. (Text/Shuxin)
