Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of CPPCC delivered a video congratulatory message, and Miao Yanhong, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, attended the forum and delivered a speech.

Leung Chun-ying congratulated the establishment of Hainan Hong Kong, Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center, and pointed out that Hainan Free Trade Port has a good development momentum and a broad platform. In recent years, a series of policies have been issued to benchmark the world-class free trade port, which is a fertile ground for Hong Kong and Macao youth to come to the mainland for innovation and entrepreneurship. Miao Yanhong pointed out that the establishment of the service center is a key point and breakthrough point to give full play to the comprehensive advantages of Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao and help build a free trade port. Hainan has broad development prospects, good living conditions and ecological environment, and sincerely invites talents from Hong Kong and Macao to come to Qiong to display their ambitions and realize the value of life. The United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee will further improve the relevant policy system, build a professional service platform, work hard on the mechanism construction, and promote the innovation and entrepreneurship services of Hong Kong and Macao compatriots to see practical results.

Li Wenjun, president of the Hong Kong Association of Hainan Associations, said that the establishment of the service center will further lead the youth to unite, organize and mobilize, contact and serve, encourage more Hong Kong youths to become participants, witnesses, beneficiaries and contributors to national development, provide quality services to Hong Kong and Macao youths who come to Qiong for innovation and entrepreneurship, and make positive contributions to strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao.

At the ceremony, the service center signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with China Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Haikou Xiuying Sub-branch, Hainan Lvtou Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., Hainan Lawyers Association, Hong Kong Commercial Daily, Xingxuehui and Beijing University Hong Kong Students’ Union.

At the symposium on supporting young people from Hong Kong and Macao to come to Qiong for innovation and entrepreneurship, the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, together with relevant units, conducted research and discussion with young people from Hong Kong and Macao on the policy formulation of supporting young people from Hong Kong and Macao to come to Qiong for employment and entrepreneurship, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the favorable policies, construction and development of Hainan Free Trade Port.

The service center has seven functional areas, which will deeply connect the information resources of Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao, strive for the innovation and entrepreneurship policies of Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao, gather the experts from high-quality think tanks in Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao, and provide one-stop services such as project landing comprehensive services, investment investigation, event planning, project roadshows and business meetings for young people from Hong Kong and Macao who come to Qiong to innovate and start businesses, and strive to become the "best partner" for young people from Hong Kong and Macao to innovate and start businesses in Hainan Free Trade Port.
